This is insane! Kids as young as 7th graders at Highland Hills Middle School in Georgetown, Indiana are becoming well known nationally, after parents flooded the school board with complaints that their kids were assigned a worksheet that portrays Sharia Law in what can be considered nothing short of anti-western propaganda.

The worksheet has a passage about a young lady who feels fortunate to be living under Sharia Law in Saudi Arabia. The assignment explains that criticism in the west of the way women are treated under Sharia Law is unfair and one-sided.

The assignment says our criticism is unfair and one-sided, yet goes on to acknowledge that women subject to Subject to Sharia Law are not permitted to drive and must wear the traditional covering called the abuyah when it public. The abuyah is that outfit that covers them from head-to-toe making them look like one of those large table umbrellas. LOL

Pretty crazy stuff huh? Something I’m sure you want your twelve year old daughter being taught at such a young impressionable age. My daughter grew up and joined the Marine Corps. I don’t think any man will ever tell her what she can and can not do under any law! LOL

Let me know how you feel about this sort of thing being taught in the United States!

So let’s talk about Christianity and learn the Lord’s prayer. Maybe we can read a verse or two about that great Rabbi who taught His followers ways of peace amongst those of the warlike Roman empire. Next we can learn the history of the Menorah and perhaps play a few games of dreidel. We could make and wear some tefillin, perhaps, or a headscarf while we light votive candles.. Isn’t the diversity of faith wonderful? Oh the opportunities to expand our “culture are endless.

I thought the Supreme Court decided there was to be no teaching of Islam in schools?
